Favorite {Health} Reads

I am a self-proclaimed bookworm and have been ever since I was a little girl. Although I still love to settle in with an old classic, which usually means a series I started reading in middle school has come out with their next book, my reading adventures these days usually includes the latest-and-greatest insight into health – this is where I should mention that I am also a self-proclaimed nerd. Please understand that my definition of health includes the physical, mental, and spiritual state of a person, with one not greater than the other. Below you will find a list of my favorite health books that will not only hold your attention, but will enable you to look deeper into your own health and perhaps make the decision to be your own health advocate.

  1. Ashley, congrats on your new venture. Now I have to start living better by following your advice!!

  2. I plan to read “The Seven Pillars of Health” as soon as I get some time. AKA after I study and pass my NCLEX.

    • Yes! This was my first health and nutrition “fun” read and I LOVED it! SO good! And he relates a lot of things back to Biblical time, which puts a whole new spin on things; loved it!

  3. Have you considered starting a health book Book Club? I’d join.
